House-"warming"

I wasn't able to attend yesterday's VL bible study coz the security don't let me in as i was a lil late:( Didn't know they added this regulation. Thus i went straight to Nursery to serve. There were so many toddlers ytd! Pastor Kong is back from Taiwan's Emerge! & this few weeks he's gonna preach on Marriage, thus i think alot of married couples came & brought their child along & so leading to an increase in no of toddlers & babies in nursery. It was so chaotic in the nursery, with so many toddlers crying & running abt, maids having chit-chatting sessions, parents crowding at the front to watch e service. The large number of kids make me dizzy. I love kids, but now whenever i c any kids, i will have headache. So now i finally understand how mothers feel when they nd to take care of their child's everyday life & attending to them every min & sec. Total headache. I feel like a mum now.HAHA. Had dinner @ Bedok after that. Had a great time with the sis & bros. We are forever so noisy! Our laughter fills the entire bus and the carriage of the train. =)

Cell group was fun & really good today. We played "Blow Wind Blow". Everybody was dashing around like mad, fighting for a seat to secure. The presence of God was really strong today. The title of the sermon today is "The Bitter Pool of Marah". Marah is a palce in Jerusalem, it oso mean shortages, disappointments, bitterness.

3 Facts of Life:
1) Great successes in life are often followed by failure - in every mountain top, there will be a valley.

But why did God still brings you to Marah?
It is to test our trust in God, that in watever situations we will seek him 1st.

2)Great services in life are often foll0wed by forgetfulness - eg. how many times did u rmb to thank your mum for whipping dishes for u & making ur bed etc?

3)Great shortages in life are often followed by fulness - Elim(a place, means FULLNESS) is only 8km away from Marah, thus DON'T GIVE UP, keep on going & trusting God that you'll soon reach Elim.

How to deal with disappointments?
1) Don't curse your disappointments.Don't retaliate.
2)Don't rehearse it & let ur life to be filled with resentments.
3)Don't nurse it. Don't keep dwelling on it & be whiny.
4)You disperse it. Cry out to God!
5)Let God reverse the hurt. He will show the solution.

What a great sermon in season!Elim is near!I won't give up!Peeps, this period is gg to get real tough, with all the tight proj deadlines & exams but bear in mind that fullness is very near to us. So keep striving & working hard. Lean to God for wisdom & he will provide you. We'll be the head & not the tail. =)

Had our usual lunch in Lot 1 after cgm & we went to the Arcade for some games. Basketball was fun. yup. Then a number of them came to my house for fellowship. We rented "Date movie" & loaded some chips & drinks. This movie is super LAME, IRRITATINGLY FUNNY, DISGUSTING. It's similar to Scary movie. Some scenes are really horrible!!hahas. My living room was packed with heaps of laughter. Super duper lame show!LOL. After the show, we slacked around. Some do projs, some play DOTA & monopoly, some continued watching a korean movie & xiao shi took a nap. hahas. They left at around 9+. Fun day with the cell group (: It always feel good to hang ard with them during the weekends . But like what yongling say, we shouldn't only be weekends frens but oso weekdays frens! Thus, i feel that we should fellowship during the weekdays too =). Thank God im all well now. Nothing is ever better than a healthy body. I feel much restored now & no more being a living zombie. Hahas. There's this BIG GROOVE dance thingy nx sat whereby instructors from O'School were hold a 2.5 hrs dance mania/class for 1000 peeps. Free admission! Im so looking forward to it! This is a real blessing to me!LETS GROOVE TGT PEOPLE! Talking about blessings, God tells me not to be weary & tired of giving. But i wish for some blessings too.
