Abacus & Abacus!

Only had DT tutorial at 11am ytd thus i went to the lab to practise Abacus after that. Managed to do for 1hr be4 other class came in. Bad try. hais. I just can't seem to get things right. Rushed out WISP journal ytd & slept at 4Am ++. I wrote about "Prejudice & Discrimination". Below i will post a portion of what i've wrote : things which i've never tell anyone before.

Being a Buddhist turned Christian, I do faced discriminations and persecutions. And I realized that many people have prejudices against Christians which was what I’ve never faced before. I’ve yet to understand the reason why but harsh comments, some even from my own friends do hurt me a lot. Unbelievers portrayed Christians as rich and proud people who are overly obsessed over God while others see churches as bloodsuckers taking all the offerings for their own use. I’m from City Harvest Church (CHC) which is widely known for its expensive building structure and artiste cum Pastor Sun Ho. There were rumors spreading about CHC using Sun Ho to draw people to church and that CHC is just making use of youngsters who attended services during the weekends to earn money. But the fact is all offerings are freewill and our Pastor has became voluntary Preacher. And I’ve heard people saying to steer clear of Christians because they are scary and crazy. When I’m not free to go out with my friends during the weekends because of service and cell group meeting, I would received comments like “ Wah, so devoted ah!” or some simply showing a pathetic face saying: “ I really admire you for your perseverance of going to church every weekends, I don’t know I’m going to survive there.” There were once when my friend complained to me that her friend keeps refusing to return her money and emphasized that her friend is a Christian from CHC. I find it amusing, because they are so many people out there owing others money, not only Christians but also people from other religions but there were never once where I heard people going around saying: “She owes me money and she’s a Buddhist/Taoist/Muslims etc.”

But i will not be daunted by what people say. I just hope that every human being can be more sensitive to the people around them. It's hard to weigh the consequences of hurtful words.

Went to sch at 9am to hand up the journal & went to the lab to practise Abacus again. But there wasn't anyone to guide me & i met so many errors. HAIS. Met up with some of the HK trip pple to discuss abt our presentation for tml then went to the lab again from 1pm all the way to almost 5pm! But it was a fruitful one! Adel was wif me. Peiyan & Weekian was there too. Thanks to Weekian's patient coaching i finally got things right!!He is really good at Abacus. Aza came later & she was helping us out too. Feel so blessed to have nice classmates like them. Weekian kept cracking jokes & i feel less tensed up after laughing. hahas. If i pass, he will be my saviour man. I must PASS! Tml after lect gonna have 4hr ATM tutorial all the way to 3pm & i will practice Abacus for 1hr before going to SG Indoor Stadium for the much awaited FESTIVAL OF PRAISE! =D . WEE WEET!It's gonna be awesome! Oh..but i dunno how to go..n never heard of the cell group meeting tgt/ wat. Hmmm..gonna check it out yea. Tml gonna be a super hectic day for me. Pray hard that all thing will go well & i can do my Abacus without any fear!

(for people who dunno wat is Abacus, it's a software for booking flights & stuff related to travel. its not the mathematical thingy k, i will never find any probs wif it if its this but unfortunately not!)
