O'well i've been so busy! & btw i'm super awake now that is 2am!I've been so tired out the past few days that i slept till 3pm today, then again from 6-9pm..So well i just woke up 5hrs ago!HAHAs. What a life! But then what's better than a good cuddly sleep with raindrops pitter pattering on the windows (: Man, i love RAIN! Not the korean artiste huh, though he is cute; the kind i like. Gees.

& Gosh..I've been reading Xiaxue's blog & i'm addicted! She has got such courage man; to be able to really practice the "Freedom of speech" on World wide web. Not that i admire her criticisms and vulgarities, but her strong character. I mean, so many people had been passing real negative remarks about her blog, even signing petition to ban her from stepping into Orchard and stuff, and she's not even shaken. Put aside all those critical posts, what i like are those entries of her overseas experiences. It is really interesting i say. & those yummylicious good food and fantastic places she got to experience. I cant help but be amazed.Maybe it's the high resolution pictures which get me hyped huh? I so gonna visit "Bistro Indulgz" . The food looks good and affordable!!BIG BUTTON MUSHROOM, DEEP FRIED CHEESE(oozing thick cheese with berry sauce), CHOC FONDUE bla bla... Ok so i'm one avid reader of Xiaxue's blog, is that good or bad?? Shruggs.

N194 has been really into HongKong Cafe(Cineleisure) these few days. It's a good place for chilling sessions! I love the fact that they've got ROUND comfy sofa and ROUND tables. Didn't i mentioned before i like the feeling of eating around a round table? Real cosy feeling (:

So Christmas has just passed. We had 5 Candle Light Bethlehem Christmas Services! The drama was what i'm always excited for!Yup, was good! Steph, Yixiu, Wanqing, Ros and huixin came for Sunday service! I'm really super happy! (:

OH! And this year we had a Christmas Feast at Vivi's house!! GEES! Food was GREAT! Vivien the superb chef from Grand Hyatt! Thanks dear for opening your house and the marvellous cooking! So sad that i couldnt stay over at her house with the rest! You know how sad it feels when you know you got to go home to do a project which has to be done by Christmas? GRR! Spoiler! And on 25th itself, i rushed home straight after serving and continue mugging on the project till 12am. WOW! That's how my Christmas is spent! =( Thank God we gonna have "Appreciation Day" on 29th, i can extend my Christmas feel till then! I WANT PRESENTS!!!! =(

HEES! My ANGEL finally did something for me!! He/she put a Tatty Teddy card and a Precious Moment Name Blocks thingy in my bag. I sort of know who is my Angel but on the other hand i wish i didnt know, coz that spoils the fun. But then again, my guess might be wrong!The truth gonna be revealed on 29th and i'm very excited! But i hope my guess is right too, coz from past experience this Angel whom i guessed is very good to the mortal! GEES! I love my Angel! LOLS!I'm blessed la to have received nice goodies from my Angel. You know, some people don't even give me any prezzie for my birthday! So now you know how good my Angel is? I sound like a whining little gal asking for present! Gees! Well, i just want to "POR" my Angel la! HAHA! & my Angel knows i like Tatty Teddy! I used to make a secret wish that i will marry the man who gave me the BIGGEST TATTY TEDDY! hahas. I was still young then. But till now, Tatty Teddy is still my fav bear (: There's a story behind Tatty Teddy. Ever wonder why he got patches of cloth on his body? Tatty is a very poor and abandoned bear!I cant really recall the story now! =p

Ooo so now i can say what prezzies i gave to my loves ya? I wrote cards for whole of N194. Bought customized pens for only 11 of them.gees. I wished i can make them myself, but i doubted my ability! Gees. Hope they like it and will use it! I presume it's the most practical & useful prezzie ya! And also bought a few additional little gifts for a few of the closer ones. (:

Christmas is a season whereby people are more open. Streets along Orchard are pathed with Christians booths and decorations and stuff..Now this year they had the "Welcome to Bethlehem" thingy whereby you will enter into a street paved with figurines and palaces and stuff! Herod's palace eh..and the manger etc etc!It's so magnificent!

Jesus was born!


I've got to mention this! I went to help out for Children Church Christmas Event on 22th. So i was assigned to Sweetlands Childcare Centre at Woodlands to bring the kids to JW Church. The kids range from 4-6 year old. The teachers were queueing the 4 year olds when i reach. When i stood infront of them, one by one called me "Jie jie" with their uber CUTE voice! AWW! They are super cute! There were 33 kids in all. And on the bus they keep fighting to talk to me!! So many "Jie jie" here and there..

They say things like "jie jie i love you", "jie jie you very pretty", " jie jie u everywhere also pretty", "AUNTIE!" , "jie jie you pretty but stomach big big -_-", "jie jie i like you alot", "jie jie can sit with me", "jie jie can go childcare sleep with me", "jie jie can stay with us", "jie jie i want presents" bla bla bla.....the ultimate is:" jie jie i want you to stay at my house!" HAHAS!! HOW CUTE!! There were so many little hands holding me, fighting for my attention, fighting to sit on my lap..I heard so many "I LOVE YOU" in one day!I've never felt so much love before in my entire 19 years of life! I really smiled from my heart, looking at all these little adorable kids. They are just so pure, so lovely, so sweet and there is no sadness in their little dictionary i guess. That day is the "HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE", really =D =D !

When i left them in the bus after the event, i felt kinda sad, cant bear to leave at the sight of so many of them sticking their faces on the windows of the bus waving their little goodbyes to me! I wonder, will they still remember me? (: So drama huh? And you know what, the kid i love most is a very small and quiet boy. Noisy kids are fun but i've more love towards the quiet ones. They are cuter, especially when they calls you "jie jie" softly as they are shy. Talking about the boy, i get a lil jealous when he hold a girl's hand. hmpfff>.< .hahas kidding! I want a boy like him!Too bad i didnt take any pictures!

& now..i'm thinking of serving in Children church. But the thing is, i don't like older kids!HAHA! The very fact that they will say "Whatever" when u introduce yourself to them irks me! Real life example eh! Kids these days have outwit us, we can never underestimate them man! They might make me cry lor!So well..i better think carefully. LOLS.

Gonna have Steamboat session with the FM clique tml!!WEETS!I'm so happy! I look forward to meeting them! And and i look forward to the food too!!I've been craving for good food the entire day coz i didnt step out of the house! I'm craving for potato chips and Indulgz. The 1st thing i'll do tml will be to dash to 7-11 and load tons of CHIPS!! I LOVE POTATO CHIPS! They are comfort food to me, not chocolates!Gees! I'm going to talk about food now!

Why does doughnut taste better than normal bun? It just taste different, but arent they both made from flour? But doughnut bread taste richer; not that fluffy.

My usual meals in NP are either the Japanese kaki fuyong set or the economic Cavana Chicken rice! Kaki Fuyong always bring me to heaven!!Man, i'm easily satisfied. Bubble tea is a must must also! They must have put addictives into the beverages coz so many people go back wanting for more, the bubble tea queue in Canteen 1 hardly cease! For short breaks, i always go for Takopaichi and Vitasoy! In order not to wait for long for your Tako balls, go for the mixed ones. That's wat i always do! I cant stand waits! It all taste the same, doesnt they? Now that i'm in my last year, my timetable has been like limiting my choice of canteens. All my classes are situated near Canteen 1! I miss the Banana Prata in Canteen 3 !!

My all-time favourite is McDonald's!!! The colors of the servicescape can really brighten your mood. Happy colors make me happy happy!I like chillings there!

OK I'm hungrier now! How i wish the night will pass by quicker and when it's day time i can EAT!!!

The Thought of Christmas

One winter day a man was walking down the street and noticed some grain on the ground. A flock of sparrows was having an unsheduled feast. As the man took a step toward the birds, they became uneasy. Another step, and their nervousness increased. When he was almost upon tem, they suddenly flew away.

For a few moments the man stood there reflecting on what had happened. Why had those sparrows scattered in flight? He had meant no harm. But then he realised that he was too big.

Another question came to mind: How could he walk among those birds without frightening them by his size? It would only be possible if he were able to become a sparrow and fly down among them.

The spiritual analogy is clear. In Old Testament times, God appeared to people in various ways - to Abraham through heavenly messengers, to Moss out of the burning bush. They were afraid because of God's awesomeness. But centuries later, the angel of the Lord appeared to shepherds and announced, "There is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:11).

Yes, God became a man so that we would not be afraid to draw near to Him.

Jesus' birth brought the infinite God within reach of finite man.

How much or little do we care on Christmas to draw near to Him to worship Him, give him praise, rejoice (and spread the Good News to others)? Or are we drawn to (if not buried in) fine gifts, foods and entertainment?
